Cancellation policy
In the event of late arrival, the treatment time cannot be extended out of consideration for subsequent appointments.
The massage or the treatment can be changed or cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment. Appointments not cancelled in time will be charged at 100%.
Health information
Massage is used for health care (wellness/relaxation) and to relieve muscle tension and pain.
In principle, every massage is performed on a healthy body. Diseases and their treatment belong in the hands of a doctor. Before you make an appointment, make sure that your state of health allows you to have a massage.
The following lists give you a rough idea of when a massage should not be given. If you are in any doubt, please consult your doctor and make him or her aware of the contraindications we have listed. Please be sure to inform us of any allergies (e.g. nut allergy).
Contraindications
- Fever
- Infectious diseases (local or systemic)
- Inflammatory diseases (e.g. tendinitis)
- Pregnancy up to the 3rd month
- High blood pressure (unless well controlled and in consultation with a doctor)
- Cardiovascular disease
- Cancer / tumours (risk of metastasis)
- Osteoporosis
- Vascular disease e.g. thrombosis, varicose veins
- Skin diseases e.g. eczema, fungal infections
- Open wounds, recent injuries
- Sensory disturbances / signs of paralysis
- Medication use - including blood thinners (Caution: the effects of medication can be increased, decreased or altered by a massage - please discuss dosage with your doctor)
