Beach volleyball
Zermatt in summer is always a special experience. As well as summer skiing, hiking and climbing, the resort offers a wide range of other unexpected attractions – including the chance to play beach volleyball.
Forest Fun Park
The Forest Fun Park promises adventure and fun for guests of all ages. Secured with safety cables, thrill-seekers walk, swing and climb from tree to tree.
Glacier palace
Sparkling ice crystals and glittering ice sculptures enchant visitors to the glacier palace. A lift carries guests 15 metres below the surface of the glacier to a fairy-tale palace deep under the perennial snows.
Matterhorn Golf Club
The 9-hole course of the Matterhorn Golf Club is located in the upper Matter valley between Täsch and Randa, framed by Switzerland’s highest mountains.
Mountain Bike
Mountain biking is the big flow experience between 1,400 m to 3,000 m in the mountains around Zermatt. Bikes are transported on three mountain lifts: Gornergrat, Rothorn and Trockener Steg.
Mountain climbing & rock climbing
Zermatt’s mighty mountains are the highest and most impressive peaks in the Alps. The most famous of all: the Matterhorn. Climb to the top with crampons, rope and pickaxe.
Paraglider flying
For once, feel like a bird and experience Zermatt and the landscape from another perspective. Two flying schools offer this experience with their tandem flights. They also give courses for the more daring.
Summer skiing
Skiers and snowboarders hit the pistes on the Theodul glacier. 21 km of groomed slopes and in the Snowpark Zermatt for freestylers.
Tennis courts
Zermatt offers a variety of possibilities to play tennis from spring to fall. Indoor and outdoor. In addition, there are other recreational offerings in the Arena at Oberen Matten.
